Fairland Farms is an eventing barn located close to the Indiana Downs racetrack in Shelbyville, very close to I-74. We have a large indoor arena that is completely dust free and is ideal for riding in cold or wet weather. There are also lots of options for riding outdoors when the weather allows and we have two full courses of showjumps and a number of cross country fences for schooling. It is a very peaceful farm and a relaxing, positive environment for horses and riders.
We offer both Dressage and jumping lessons and place a lot of emphasis on developing a strong foundation on the flat in order to be more successful over fences. We have a very active show program starting early spring until late fall including dressage, combined tests some hunter jumper shows and lots of 3-day-eventing. We pride ourselves on having an excellent team spirit and very supportive members so there's always a great atmosphere at the shows and our competitive results reflect the dedication and preperation of our horses and riders.
